Thats exactly what I did with mine and it worked a treat! No more rattley boot, just makes all the other rattles more obvious now lol.

As for the ABS light, mine came on a few weeks ago so got it on the diagnostics and it pin-pointed it straight away as a problem on drivers front abs sensor so old one out new one in and buda bing it was sorted!!

Where do you live the jungle? Lol was that the fitting price as well? Suppose it's not bad if its brand new and fitted at that price, I can get second hand ones for 20 quid, always check on here for parts mate no point buying brand new if you can get decent second hand ones

By the way your car is nice mate I wouldn't do to many mods you will make it Chavy, I'm looking a set of nimrods for mine because mine is all standard at the min except for the seats, I'm just going to lower mine and put different wheels on it plus change the interior a bit because end of the day it's the interior you have to look at everyday lol

no point with a big turbo on the 2.0 hdi unless your willing to spend thousands, i had a 160bhp 306 hdi, exhaust, mbc, fmic and a good map. Plenty gains are tiny after that and need turbo, custom manifold, different fuel pressure sensor and custom map. dont worry people used to take the p**s because i had a 90bhp diesel.. and then laughed as i took off from gti180s and gti6's leaving them in clouds of smoke
