#1: clutch replacement? Author: PugGti180, Location: ScotlandPosted: Fri Feb 24, 2012 5:32 am ---- ok I'm about to drop another 180 engine in my car and wondering if I should change the clutch before I do so? Also anything else I should change before hand? Obviously I'll change the timing belt and waterpump.
Cheers

If its from your own car, I would change the clutch, input shaft bearing and check the condition of the clutch fork.
GTi 180's are known for clutch judder.

Cheers
