#1: PSCUK Kames Track Day Author: Lecktorious, Location: Scotland PostPosted: Mon Feb 27, 2012 3:02 pm
    ----
Hello all Waving o/

The Peugeot Sport Club UK has 15 places available for a full day of track action on Sunday 25th March at the Kames Sprint Track.

Price for non PSC UK members is £25.00, price for PSC UK members is £17.50. Price for passengers is £5.00 (for the day). NOTE an additional £20.00 will be due on the day to the East Ayrshire Car Club to cover insurance.

Closing date for tickets is 16th March.

The Kames track is situated just off the A70 in Muirkirk, East Ayrshire. It is 13 miles west of junction 12 on the M74 and 10 miles east of Cumnock, 9 miles west of Strathaven.

Kames Motorsport Complex
Furnace Road
Muirkirk
KA18 3QQ

The Complex was built by members of EACC in the early 1980’s and opened in 1984. It is still owned and operated by the Club. The track was resurfaced in 2000 after a 3 year project with the help of Lottery funding as well as funds from other motorsport clubs.

The track is a testing 800m long 3.5m wide tarmac surface with generous run-off areas. One "run" is timed as 3 laps from a standing start if running clockwise, or 2.5 laps if used anti-clockwise.

There is parking for 400 cars, tarmac paddocks, a toilet block and a Cafe offering excellent value for money snacks. We have full PA facilities and for most events we have a commentator. The main car park offers an excellent view of the track from within the parked cars but spectators are welcome to wander round and have a look at the competing cars during events.

Tickets can be bought from the Peugeot Sport Club UK online shop

If you are attending, please let me know when you have booked a ticket so I can keep an eye on numbers.

Any questions, please feel free to ask Smile

Price for non PSC UK members is £17.50, price for PSC UK members is £25.00? Shouldn't you get the benefit of the cheaper price for being a member?

Shame it's so far away this is exactly something I was looking for not worth spending £100+ for the shed just to break down.

Goodluck with it, looks a lot of fun.

For anyone interested in attending, this weekend is the deadline for booking. Due to the low numbers so far, there may be a possibility that the event is cancelled, hopefully this can be avoided though.

Any questions, let me know Smile
