I am not overly fussed about this feature although I would like it turned on, perhaps this time I won't be having some stranger opening my door asking for change Laughing

I haven't known about this until I searched up and tried turning it on by holding lock button but does nothing, this means I have outdated BSI ? If this means I must go to Peugeot dealer for an expensive update then I have second thoughts, apart from this could anything else activate it that I am not doing? Did everyone go through BSI update then who has same reg ? Confused

But first does a GTI 180 2004 support this feature...?!

Thanks all Smile

Was the key in first position when you tried it?

Sounds stupid but is the ignition on when you hold the button down? you have to hold it down for quite a bit too. Can't remember what year the update was.

Tried both positions, held it 5-10 seconds or so and nothing happened. Will try again later..

Yes.

May need a BSI software update & will most likely need the BSI configuration tweaking.

When the car gets to about 6 mph the doors will automatically lock.

Only certain spec's of multiplexed 206 can do this.

You need the combined hazard / lock button fitted on the dash & also the feature turned on in the BSI configuration set up to get it to work.

Peugeot main dealer only.

Only done FOC if the car is still under the original 3 year manufacturers warranty OR if its a safety recall that requires a download.

Either half hour or an hours labour depending on the actual dealer.

I have this feat. working on my car,you will hear a sound "Bong" when it's acitvated, and also when you disactivated it :).
But I think it's not practical, the closeing part when the cars move to like 6MPH is nice, and good for saftey if you have kids with a 5 door car,but the annoying part that the doors don't unlock when you turn the car off :((,so you have to press the Lock/Unlock button next to the hazard button to open it Sad

Dont use the dash button to unlock the doors, just open the drivers door with the handle & it should trigger the central locking to unlock Wink

I know that ;),but what if I stopped, and wanted to let someone get in the car ;)..hehe,but I guess your idea is the best still Smile

That would just ruin the purpose of autolocking the car.
