#1: 'Airbag storing' on display?? Author: Betterbyfar1, Location: EssexPosted: Wed Feb 29, 2012 5:49 pm ---- Hi there, I have joined this forum as we have a very strange problem that I can't even find on google! We have a 2003 Roland Garros that has come in with the air bag light on and on start up, the centre screen displays the words "airbag storing" That then goes out and the words "dashboard airbag fault' The passenger air bag is switched off with the key. Before we start messing about we wondered if anyone else has had this problem?
Cheers muchly !

The car is telling you the airbag system is "storing" a fault code and identifying a fault in the dashboard air bag circuit. A scan of the airbag fault codes may give you more information. What happens if you turn the pass airbag switch on? The switch itself is sometimes faulty
A low battery voltage at start up can also trigger airbag warnings
So I'd check the cranking battery voltage, check the switch, check the stored airbag codes
