#1: 1.4 8v stat Author: millerman, Location: KentPosted: Thu Mar 01, 2012 12:29 am ---- I,ve now replaced the rad and stat but i have a small drip from the bottom of the plastic stat housing, now when i fitted this there was no gaskit betwix the plastic housing and the block/head, is this correct? I did use the smallest bit of instant gaskit from a tube, is this wrong? If all above is correct maybe i only need to nip up the two 10mm bolts, OR i could have done then up TOO tight and split the plastic!!

Did you use a genuine Peugeot / Citroen part OR a crappy aftermarket item?

Mr BSI, no its not an OE part, but its a well known brand but the name elludes me at the mo because i threw the box out.
