#1: gti got louder after full service. Author: m4tth3w, Location: sheffieldPosted: Mon Mar 05, 2012 4:24 pm ---- Had full service last week and ever since the car is quite a bit louder, it sounds meatier and almost as good as a performance exhaust. It doesn't sound like the exhaust is akblowing.
The only thing I can think of that can alter the sound is The air filter, so would going from an old dirty filter to new make such a dramatic round difference.?
One other thing exhaust related is that my cat heat shield fell off today but it's been louder for over a week.
Any thoughts?
