So I changed the light bulbs on my car and they stopped working but they started working but they've suddenly stopped again my battery is flat would this stop my headlights working?

Get a new battery on it or get it jump started. If you jump start it then go for a drive

Ok perfect ill jump it when I get home...however other bits of electrics were working but just not my headlights? does that make sense...

Yes that makes sense, As your battery still got abit of life in it just not alot to start it or to use all your lights, If your gotta jump start it make you take it on a long drive or leave it running for a bit
