#1: Little accident, any help :S Author: ashleygilbert92, Location: BristolPosted: Fri Mar 09, 2012 12:01 pm ---- basically i was putting my wheel nuts on and as im a clumsy heavy handed d*ck i over tightend it and stripped the thread from inside my drum brake :/ does anyone know is this easily repairable, i.e a trip down the scrapyard to look for a new drum brake cover??

Just take it steady and you shouldnt have any problems, but get it replaced ASAP. And keep checking the other three are tight

To put a new drum face on is dead easy, takes may6be 10 mins if thats and i would pop down the scrappy with your car and get another, job done!
