#1: ECU wiring 2.0hdi Author: ej2_sir, Location: DerbyPosted: Sat Mar 10, 2012 11:11 am ---- finished repairing my axle on new car and was just having a poke round the engine bay checking fluids etc. I noticed 2 random wires (blue/black stripe and white) coming from the ecu not in a plug? These are then bullet connected to red and beige wires? Now Im guessing this is not regulation Peugeot wiring so any ideas? Ive not got the wiring diagrams?

If they go into the ECU, then someone has been drilling holes!
#4: Re: ECU wiring 2.0hdi Author: ej2_sir, Location: DerbyPosted: Sat Mar 10, 2012 11:43 am ---- someones been drilling holes as they go into the plastic! Do you recon its somekind of ebay resister style wiring? Ive got no idea why someone would do this? most people would take off existing wires? any thoughts?
#5: Re: ECU wiring 2.0hdi Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sat Mar 10, 2012 12:04 pm ---- Where do they go?
Do you have an aftermarket alarm?
#6: Re: ECU wiring 2.0hdi Author: ej2_sir, Location: DerbyPosted: Sat Mar 10, 2012 12:08 pm ---- No after market alarm Im aware of. Those 2 wires are bullet connected to a redwire and a beige wire that appear to follow down with the rest of the loom? Im a bit blind with this one as I dont have any wiring diagrams for the car so really apreciate the help

They tuck down by washer bottle so its difficult to see. there's not alot of slack so dont wanna pull to hard. there's no numbering on the blue/white wires protruding from the ecu

No point checking via vin number as it won't have been standard, so won't be listed.
If you have it, it'll be a long thin stalk underneath the indicator one.
Just open the ECU up and see what they connect too.
