#3: Re: refurbed the wheels :) Author: Lewis, Location: Isle Of WightPosted: Sat Mar 10, 2012 5:42 pm ---- Looks smart! How did you manage to seperate the colour!
#4: Re: refurbed the wheels :) Author: feelion, Location: midlothianPosted: Sat Mar 10, 2012 5:56 pm ---- LOTS of masking!! used curved masking tape on the edges and the wrapped the rest of the spokes in low tack tape and paper... i painted the spokes first and then waited for a few days for the paint to set, then masked off the spokes for the blue.... then waited again and the whole thing got several coats of laquer
its not bad for me as i have normally have zero patience lol....

Look nice.

People get bored on here and instead of writing anything useful they just prey on newbies ...

But the idea itself has been around for donkeys years, doesn't matter what wheel it's done on you don't need to get all touchy when someone does the same thing. It's just a set of wheels and i'm pretty sure it's not the end of the world.
#19: Re: refurbed the wheels :) Author: Andrew, Location: Black Country Ay IPosted: Thu Mar 15, 2012 7:05 pm ---- Just came across this, I have no idea why people get so wound up that people have done something similar to their car, not like they are trying to make an exact replica of their car or that they invented that idea
There are a few people on here like that "better not copy me or else" haha
