Hi,

As above I have a problem with my 206 gti, If i drive down the road the car pulls slightly to the left like there is a problem with the tracking but if I accelerate or put my foot down a bit the car pulls back to the right?

If I put my foot down I can let go of the steering wheel and the car goes straight, as soon as I take my food off the throttle the car pulls back to the left again

Doesn't seem like tracking to me but I may be wrong, Any ideas guys?

Regards,
Kelz

You shouldn't be putting your food on it at all Laughing

Well I got track rod ends and anti roll bar/drop links waiting for wishbones hen will change them all, if still like it will look into driveshafts but then it's guessing which one needs replacing lol

Don't think it is driveshaft tho as there is a clunk when I take my foot off the throttle

Get the wishbones replaced and then check if you still have any play. Jack up the car and pull the wheel at 12 and 6 o'clock then 3 and 9.

12 and 6 movement usually means the lower balljoint but on the pug also check the top strut mount.

3 and 9 will be track rod ends or even the rack.

If all these are discounted becauae you can't see any movement (have someone else watching or even feeling these wear spots) it could be the wheel bearing.

And don't bother with an alignment check until all worn parts are replaced or you waste your time and money as it will just be out again when the parts are replaced.

Looked over the car properly and it was the front bush on passenger wishbone, completely knackered got a new one also replaced track rods both sides and both anti rollbar/drop links at the same time now it's all gone away, got tracking done yesterday too so all is good now and happy!!
