#1: alternator ? Author: lisa206, Location: BirminghamPosted: Fri Mar 16, 2012 7:04 am ---- My 206 cuts out like seconds after being started, sometimes struggles to start. Sometimes it cuts flat out when I dip the clutch.
My dash lights all constantly dim then go back to normal in the car.
Is this alternator ?

But im not 100% sure this would cause it to cut out... although im probably wrong, but sounds like alternator. Somebody else should be able to clarify.

Need to get a multimeter across your battery really, it would tell you straight away if its alternator or not.
