Ok the fan on my 206 gti doesn't seem to work I searched on here and read if I put the air con on the,fan should come on but it doesn't

The temperature got to 90 in traffic and fan still didn't come on luckily we started moving and it cooled down a bit lol

I read that if you disconnect the temperature sensor the fan automatically comes on, where about's is the temperature switch?

Just managed to find it(I think) the, plug between the head and the battery box with a green plug?

I unplugged it and turned ignition on and also started the car up and still got no fan

What's the next step or next thing to check?

Check the connections on the fan, there known to corrode.

Where abouts is the connection to the fan? Can you get to it or do you have to take the bumper off

You'll need to take the bumper off, only a five minute job.

Run a +12v direct to the fan to see if it works.

I have a working fan and loom for sale if you need one.

You can get to the relays if you just take the front grill off. The relays will likely be crusty...for a more thorough check and repair you are best to take the bumper off.
