Replacement service log book

Do Peugeot issue a new 'warranty and maintenance record' book after the car passes 120K miles? We have owned the car since new and always had it serviced at Peugeot. Just had a quick look at the book and it is now fully stamped as our last full service was done at 120K miles.

Wonder why they chose 120K miles, is that all they think these cars will do?! Was hoping to get 250K out of ours...

Full service history on a car like that isn't going to make a difference come resale.

Save your money and do it yourself or pay a sunday mechanic

Receipts count for more than stamps in a book.

Service books are so easy to fake.

Borrow the stamp from your mate & then just use different pens / people to fill in the dates & mileages.

Without the receipts or a dealer printed service history a stamped service book is basically worthless.

Your probably right there, I guess the car is not worth much more than a £1K. Essentially its worth more to me than anyone else as I know the history.

We have all the service receipts to backup the stamps in the book along with old MOT's, tyre replacements, air con re-gas etc. Receipts for pretty much everything we have ever bought for it. Hate to think how much has actually been spent over the 10 years.

Spoke to the local dealer and was told that they don't issue service books so the best thing to do was just keep hold of the service receipts. Thought I might as well ask what a full service would cost and was told £230.

No point paying dealer prices for any 206. I don't understand why my dealer gets them in for servicing.
