#1: Suspicious connecting pipe - Oil Leak - Pics Inc. Author: Pd9ph, Location: Strathclyde PostPosted: Tue Mar 20, 2012 5:31 pm

Good evening all, First post on 206Info, after being a member of TheFiatForum (MK1 Punto GT) then SeatCupra.Net (MK4 Ibiza Cupra) racking up 1000's of posts.

So I just bought a 1999 Peugeot 206 GTI Grand Tourisme yesterday as I've just come back from Oz to get me on the road again. Had a quick look under the bonnet today after I noticing a small pool of oil on the ground. Raising the bonnet revealed this red taping 'bodge' where the oil is leaking from:

Any ideas what part this should be? I'm assuming a plastic connector of some sort? Or can any members assist in replacing said section?

Thanks and hello!

Should have a pipe with a clip similar to that on the pipe going to the Fuel Rail.

PM a guy called Harry om here, your after the breather pipe. Its got a push on clip connector on either end. I'd give your engine a clean as well while your at it!

Lee / Steve, Thanks again. I'll PM Harry and see what he can offer me with regards to breather pipes. In the past my engines have been a tad more clean and shiney!:

A good weekend will sort out my little Peugeot! Wink It really needs good shampoo, polish and wax also.

This is the standard hose - with the connector removed from it.

Edward, thanks for that pic. Bundle of info in that photo. I'll try and get a hold of that full pipe. Wink
