#1: air bag light help Author: 20619d, Location: barnstaplePosted: Wed Mar 21, 2012 6:35 pm ---- i have a 1.9d 51 plate car that i took the steering wheel off and fitted a momo wheel in its place. the air bag light came on and stayed on all time(put tape over so didnt see it) and when i turned key to start car it would beep twice at me to say air bag not fitted. now due to new mot rules i have fitted steering wheel with airbag to my car. now when i turn car on i have no beeping noise but air bag light is still on all time. how do i sort this problem. do i need plug laptop in to car and tell it that air bag now fitted?(had momo on for a year or so now) or is there a different way to make it go out. please can someone help me on this.

From what I've seen on here the wires break quite easily.
