#4: Re: rough idea anyone? Author: Bassline_Toad, Location: Chester, UKPosted: Thu Mar 22, 2012 7:23 pm ---- I have driven it, mine didn't drink much at all... Yeah, I think I spent £30 return.

Author: JE_180, Location: WiltshirePosted: Fri Mar 23, 2012 3:09 am ---- It's all about how you drive it lol, I managed Birmingham and back in my 180 (116 miles each way) on half a tank... and that wasn't being gentle. So I imagine a 1.4 being driven sensibly would get much better results.

How fast do you drive?
What time of day are you going?
#7: Re: rough idea anyone? Author: fatboyslim, Location: Lincolnshire,Home of the RAFPosted: Fri Mar 23, 2012 5:59 am ---- Well my CC says average mpg is 37
So to be safe say 35mpg
Journey is 80 miles
So 80/35 is 2.28gallons
1 gallon is 4.52 litres so £1.399 per litre x 4.52=£6.32 per gallon
So then multiply gallons x price per gallon 2.28 x £6.32 = £14.40
So £15 worth should cover it
