Today I cleaned the engine using a power wash and after that The Abs waring light turned on... I dont think that I actually have problems in my abs but what can I do to switch it off? Where is the abs sensor? thanks
btw mine is 1999 1.4l petrol, with front disc breaks.

Unless you have actually done something!

THe light only turns on when I have the hand break, and when I press the break with the hand break it switches off.

#5: Re: ABS warning light Author: ej2_sir, Location: DerbyPosted: Mon Mar 26, 2012 8:03 am ---- If it were me I'd start by disconnecting battery (follow the correct process) then go round all sensors in the engine bay disconnecting and give them a good spray with water repellent (wd40) and a quick blast of electric contact cleaner. Then reboot bsi and see if it has cleared. Pressure washing engine bays on modern cars is not clever really with all the electrics
