#1: Door edge protector Author: Ghosty, Location: WiltshirePosted: Tue Mar 27, 2012 9:42 am ---- does anyone know anywhere i can get a set of door edge protectors, that can be moulded to the curve on the 206 door. i have tried ebay but nothing seems to do the job.
problem is my mum constently bangs the door into the wall alongside my driveway, i have tried parking further away but somehow she still manages to hit the wall.
this results in a very untidy door edge, that once resprayed, will need protecting. im after a black colour as the car is black. i had thought about gloss black vynal, or some of that stuff used on helecoptor blades, that i have on my phone. but its abit more expensive than i wanted to spend.

& she probably does it on purpose as pay back for all the times as a kid you damaged her stuff, lol.

If the person working is nice enough they might let you just take some outside to see which ones fit

I know it came in a roll and you would cut off an amount you needed.

I have always found door edge protectors to harbour dirt and create premature rusting. If you take them off everytime you wash the car, you end up with scratches underneath them, which looks even worse than touched in chips. The stuff in the link is pretty low profile, and with it being clear will blend in on any colour.
