ok i read a few things on here about taking the bumper off and some say taking the headlamps out but others say you don't need to?

so how do you remove the bumper without taking them out? as the torx drive is under the light?

remove the wheel arch liner, the bumper is bolted under there
remove the headlight, its only 3 bolts Razz
should be 1 bolt either side and 3 torx screws on the front and it should pop off Smile

If the headlamps are removed you will need to get the beam alignment checked / adjusted at your local mot garage once the car is back together.

Its just as easy to leave the headlamps in Wink

If you mark the position of the headlights with tape then they should go back in the same position. If the bumper bolts are seized access if often easier from above with the headlights removed.

Well I took the lights out as it made things easier but didn't remove the bumper in the end as the wiring loom I got for the fan was actually different to the loom on my car!

The plugs were different so had to cut the loom half way and join the new loom onto it etc
