#1: Sunroof Problems, rubber & plastic thingos fail. Author: cbgl, Location: AustraliaPosted: Sun Apr 01, 2012 3:39 pm ---- Hi' my 206 GTI has developed a sunroof problem, our hot summers in Aus wreck plastic bits. Have purchased some parts from local Peugeot dealer, have: 8424.61 Cable Assembly (Sunroof) this comes as a kit with 2 rubber clip bits, have ordered another kit for repair, still awaiting that.
Has anyone on Forum actually repaired the Glass Sunroof themselves? Would be keen to hear more about work involved. I will definately have to fix my own Sunroof, when your old (64 years) like, me we try to fix everthing.
In time all Glass Sunroofs will require repairs as rubber & plastic bits get brittle, now is a good time to start this project whilst repair bits are still around.

I've heard there are few sunroofed 206's in Europe since it was developed in Argentina time after the car. Is that so?
