#1: Digital climate problem - only the buttons dont light up Author: army-joe, Location: kentPosted: Thu Apr 05, 2012 11:56 am ---- digital climate, 3 bulbs, 1 for the buttons, 2 for the display. Display ones are working but buttons aint. ive changed the bulbs round, no luck. even had a spare digi control unit and they didnt work either.
Where do i look next?

Note they only light up when sidelights are on or headlights

I have a digital climate control that will only light the buttons when I turn my stalk control to headlights or sidelights only

You can probably sort that by finding the 12v feed that enters the CC when the sidelights are turned on, then disconnecting it and securing it to ground (so the pin isn't left floating).

Ive done it, didnt realise about the lights being on lol. all done and looks the dogs. Blue lighting now

Cars have had these feature of dimming the radio / displays for many years.
