#18: Re: 1.4 HDi Crank Pulley Author: gazza82, Location: South BucksPosted: Tue Apr 10, 2012 4:12 am ---- Managed to find one for £62. Should be here by end of week. Marked as Bilstein part.
I'll let everyone know how it goes.
Getting the latest from Peugeot may mean it lasts longer but it's probably twice as expensive!
#19: Re: 1.4 HDi Crank Pulley Author: gazza82, Location: South BucksPosted: Thu Apr 12, 2012 1:47 pm ---- Picked up a febi Bilstein pulley for £62.33 inc delivery and VAT from wanapart (peugeot206parts.co.uk takes you there too).
#20: Re: 1.4 HDi Crank Pulley Author: gazza82, Location: South BucksPosted: Sat Apr 14, 2012 12:44 pm ---- Fitted pulley today. About an hour ... luckily I'd taken it off before about 4 years ago to do the cambelt.
The old pulley could be moved about by my fingers. The three small metal tags in the pulley slots were worn on both sides to a third of their width !!! That would be why it was so noisy!
