So the story goes like this.....

Travelling upto scotland on sunday and my engine warning light came on. Pulled onto the hard shoulder, checked for any loose connections. Nothing....

Carried on upt the joirney as the light went out... 20 miles up boom light back on. So thought it would be best to call the AA.

Chap came out, read the ecu and got fault code 0170. I was advised it may be the lamba, or mass sensor etc.
I then began to loose power and car would not rev past 5k!!!

So got a long 10hr ride home from glasgow courtisy of the AA.
I removed the idle control valve, maf sensor, lamba and cam
Sensor.
Now i have no codes being stored and no ligjt coming on so thats a bonus!!

BUT still have the power issue. Sooooo only thing i can think of now is either crank sensor, dodgy fuel, failing injectors or coil pack???

I took the spark plugs out today and thu look as though they are getting overly hot which is making me think its a fuel issue???

Any thoughts or comments are massively helpful!!!!

Cheers to lee for his in put earlier

Cheers

Dave

Also to add guys when i jumped on the motorway after replacing pretty much all sensors i was cruising at 70ish and you could feel the car 'pulsing' if that makes sense??? As if it wasnt getting fuel or was searching for it......

Cant explain it any better tbf

Cheers

Dave

So you haven't changed the injectors? Try running some red X throu it may help clean the crap on the injectors
