How annoyed am i!

My 206 passed it's mot yesterday. Quite what posessed me to book an mot for friday the 13th i'll never know but it passed with only one advisory for brake pads getting low so all good up until then.

However this morning i'm stopped in a queue of traffic when the stationary car behind me gets hit from the rear sending him into the back of me then i get sent into the rear of the car infront & you've guessed it the car infront ends up in the rear of the car in front of her. 5 Cars involved in total.

I will post photo's at somepoint but damage consists of front and rear bumpers bonnet plus rear fog lights and whatever else is found when stripped down

So you where to close to the car in front then in the traffic queue Wink

If you where driving correctly it would have been only the rear end of your car that would have suffered damage.

If you were driving correctly it would have been only the rear end of your car that would have suffered damage.

Surely that depends on how fast the moving car was traveling? Wink

It must have been fairly fast, as the moving car hit another stationary car before hitting the OP Wink

No i wasn't close att all at least 3-4 ft from the car infront the driver of the car behind me reckons the woman in the car behind was doing 40-50 mph so doesn't take much at those speeds to push a car forwards.

The car behind was a total write off so i didn't do to badly considering

Judgmental, know it all, keyboard warrior.

Reminds me why I logged off this site years ago...only came back on to sell my A pillars and regretting that already.

Mr BSI, do everyone a favour and pipe down.

Mine was hit at probably a lower speed, I didn't hit the car in front and the damage at the back looked like a scratch until you lifted the boot floor carpet and sound deadening. Mine was only just repairable due to only being 2 years old...

Well i have actually lifted the boot carpet etc and all looks to be straight. The majority of the damage to the rear bumper looks to have been from the other car riding up onto the bumper and pushing it down so will be interesting to see what happens.

It's off to the bodyshop to be looked at tomorrow so i will know more after that.
