#1: Alarm Keeps Going Off Author: tee_lad, Location: ShropshirePosted: Sat Apr 14, 2012 11:43 am ---- Any idea why my alarm tends to go off when I dead lock it off the remote Its fine unless I press the little button on the remote after locking the car with the big button. I rarely use the little button on the remote but have used it a couple of times, only to be told 'your alarms been going off mate'.....

The alarm never goes of unless deadlocked, are the sensors specifically set for the operation of that feature....

Test by holding down the button next to the handbrake for 5 seconds, this will disable the sensors. Then deadlock the car. If the alarm doesnt go off then you need new ultrasonic sensors.
