#1: arch liners Author: Dan-, Location: BiggleswadePosted: Sat Apr 14, 2012 5:43 pm ---- hey there, i have a feeling i know what the answer is going to be here but as some of you may know i have lowered my car on coilovers and have them set rather low, sometimes when cornering my tyres rub on the inner arches, are they important to keep in or can i just take them out
Thanks Dan

altho get some tie wraps and some self tapping screws and you can set them back a bit further might stop them from rubbing

#6: Re: arch liners Author: Jay794, Location: Sheffield/Chesterfield/DronfieldPosted: Sun Apr 15, 2012 1:02 am ---- I asked the same question the other day, simple answer is you need smaller rubber, what are you running on at the moment? I would assume it's around 205/50 ish?
Long and more expensive answer is,
Arches rolled/flared
Spacers

#9: Re: arch liners Author: rick-gti, Location: welshpool, mid walesPosted: Thu Apr 19, 2012 5:20 am ---- My gti was lowered 40mm i think before i had it, was running with 17s and 205-45-17 tyres and they rubbed on full lock on the splash guards. I have a set of splash guards if you need to replace them. My answer would be to use smaller profile rubber or fit spacers and rool the archs.
