cheers, ill be ok till the m.o.t though wont i?
how come the 5 door does not have them?
#4: Re: dashboard/airbag help Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sun Apr 15, 2012 1:13 pm ---- None of the airbags will work nor seat pretensioners.
5 doors do have them, the dash will have either come off a poverty spec or a very early model
#5: Re: dashboard/airbag help Author: iainlovatt, Posted: Sun Apr 15, 2012 1:16 pm ---- I'm sure the light can be turned off by a computer, just get the car plugged into peugeot planet or similar job done, Last edited by iainlovatt on Sun Apr 15, 2012 1:16 pm; edited 1 time in total

Nope.
Quick fix would be to fit a resistor on the pass airbag.
@iainlovatt - no it can't as it's a perm fault
#8: Re: dashboard/airbag help Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sun Apr 15, 2012 1:18 pm ---- Only way to do it, would be to disable the airbag all together via changing the setting in the ECU
#9: Re: dashboard/airbag help Author: Addaz, Location: SuffolkPosted: Sun Apr 15, 2012 1:22 pm ---- There is about 4 T20's holding the air bag blank in place
Easy swap

1 more question will this affect my steering wheel airbag? sorry no good with this stuff
#13: Re: dashboard/airbag help Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sun Apr 15, 2012 1:58 pm ---- I have a black airbag if you're non-plexed?
If you fit the correct resistor then the Airbag ECU will think there is a airbag fitted, thus re-arming the SRS system

what would you say i should do? yes my car is pre plexed, how much are you asking?
#15: Re: dashboard/airbag help Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sun Apr 15, 2012 2:06 pm ---- I'd personally fit the airbag.
Depends what equipment you have to your avail. Like I could just go out and turn the airbag off and it would take 5 minutes, or go and fit a resistor and diode as I have a stock pile of them. But it's if you can do it?
