#1: Heavy Clutch Pedal, an effort to push down Author: borinous, Location: EssexPosted: Fri Apr 20, 2012 3:18 am ---- I find that the clutch pedal on my 2003 1.4 8v lx is quite heavy compare to other vehicles i have owned.
Is this normal or is there an issue with say the clutch cable?

I had the same hard feeling in my old 206, the clutch was replaced after the thrust bearing went then after that the clutch pedal was so soft I was nearly stalling because I wasnt used to it!

it was in our possesion when the clutch was changed but as i did not drive it daily i cannot comment on if the pedal was heavier or lighter after the change.
Now its my daily and when i hit traffic i now notice how heavy it is.

Thats fine by me..just wanted to check incase i was facing sudden failure of something. I only notice it when im driving in traffic.
