I've certianly got the cash, but since I've just bought a house, I can think of a few more things I'd rather spend afew k on, such as a new/faster car lol or as the mrs calls it, a new kitchen lol

"Could you afford it?" and "Would you buy it?" are two totally different questions.
I can afford a pair of high heels shoes, but I wouldn't buy them as I'm not a girl......that's the same principle as the super charger.
