#1: having a nightmare changing my tyre Author: RyanDaley, Location: United KingdomPosted: Sun Apr 22, 2012 12:57 pm ---- so i got a flat tyre today, no idea how it happened but it is completely flat and undriveable.. so i got all set to change it with my spare.. but the 4 locks were so tight on that the wrench snapped instead.. what can i do? i think the locks may have fused with the metal over time as the car is 11 years old..

tyre shop always tends to overtighten the nuts so the longer the better

Put the space saver on, pumped it up and the valve blew out! Cost me eighty quid that day to get a new tyre put on but that included the cab aswell
