#1: New Clutch or Not? Author: nellyhaggis, Location: SheffieldPosted: Mon Apr 23, 2012 4:03 am ---- 206 1.6 HDI
Just had it remapped etc.
Now in 3rd especially when i boot it the clutch seems to be slipping.
The peddle is right at the very top too.
Is it new clutch time or is it something else?

if you think the clutch slip then change it; you can't rely on the change in biting point as it should stay constant until the clutch die

I'll be getting it changed in the next few weeks. Mines hydraulic. What torque are you running now, does it slip on gentle acceleration?

I had a 180 before so nothing like that but after the map etc she has alot more poke.
It's only been slipping at high speeds when I stick the foot down so I've ordered a luk clutch which will be going in this week. I believe they are the best!
