I doubt they rust quicker than Peugeots 180 system BUT im guessing they wont actually be for the 180.

I have had good and bad deals from ebay and main dealer, a phone call costs nothing to do a price check, having restored a 205 GTi I have been able to get parts from a main dealer cheaper than ebay for items that are listed as 'rare' and 'hard to find'. I have got them brand new from the dealer for less money. The mesh bonnet grills I just bought for the 206 were listed at over £80 in the dealer but after a bit of haggling got em for £40! Don't be afraid to ask for a deal, there's only 2 possible answers you'll ever get Wink

It does seem expensive but I've had bolts from the hardware store which snaped in half when banged with a hammer whereas the pug ones didn't even bend.
You can tell the difference just by looking at them.

So, is it worth saving a few quid on bolts, when you're spending loads on what they're going to hold?

I dont even bother looking up prices now as 95% of the time getting a genuine part from the Peugeot / Citroen dealer works out cheaper.

As for getting parts form GSF or Euro car parts, I find both are really useless & not worth my time or effort anymore.

People just have it in their head that Peugeot as a main dealership will instantely rip you off, but not being biased because I work in one, but we are alot cheaper on certain bits than the Bay and factors

And sometimes the dealership mess up your order!!! Went to collect my bolts today and they were the wrong ones! Now I have to get my seats fitted tomorrow then replace the bolts when the new ones arrive on Monday Sad

Stupid parts ordering guy! It took his supervisor and a mechanic to look at the bolt I was holding in my hand to find out that yes indeed it was an incorrect part
