Hi all

Having just brought a 2002 206 SW im now having my first problem with it.
The NSF door is not responding to either the inside or outside handles even though the door is unlocked.

I'm guessing that i'm gonna have to release the door card so is this going to be easy to do with the door stuck closed. Also is this going to be easy enough to sort once the card is off or is it likely to be more complex. Any help / advice will be apreciated

It's the NSR door thats faulty not the NSF

once you pop the door card and remove the insulator sheet you will see how the lock mechanism work and you can work from there

Can you take the door card off while it is closed. I though there was a torx screw on the side?

Yep a new door card will be needed unless you can carefully break it around that screw

Can you not 'bend' the whole card slightly and stick your hand in there to poke around
without breaking the whole card and needing a new one?

it's plastic, it will bend quite a lot without breaking Laughing

Well i've finally got this problem sorted. It was a broken clip that secures the lock rod from the exterior to the lock unit which allowed the rod to fall out. New clip is now on order so will fit as soon as it arrives also child lock was on hence the reason why it wouldn't open from the inside.

The door cards on SW dont have the torx screw on the side so that made things easier.

All in all it was a good result
