Fit Bonnet Vent Grille

As the title says really. I bought some of these off 'shell-vt' not so long back and was wondering how to fit them?

I've managed the easy bit of taking off the plastic grille, but it looks like the back pieces are plastic welded on (Pic 2)

My mate said to cable tie them on, but I think thhat will look s**t, but I also don't want to break the plastic welding and go through reems and reems of trouble haha

Any tips or ideas?

Thanks in advance Smile

They don't go underneath. They go ontop.
Although I have never seen them like that, they always seem to come in a whole unit, although thats my experience. Someone may know otherwise.

Same, look like it's just the SP grill with the vents taken out so I don't think there is anyway of getting them in that without abit of DIY.

Waltzing around the site and I've noticed Jamie's GTi180 has them, does this mean they came as a unit with the black toppers or were these like mine at one point does anyone know?

It's going to take a lot of work to fit them by the looks of it, I don't even think you can fit them to the standard grill.

Where did you get them from?

I got them from shell-vt, I've messaged her to ask how she fitted them basically but no reply as of yet

Try and fit it yourself is your best bet, no idea why they were removed though
