#1: Project SW Author: mehoolkmusic, Location: Northamptonshire/BedfordshirePosted: Tue May 01, 2012 12:52 pm ---- Hello fellow 206info'ers. Been on the forum since 2009 and still remember the 'Crash' there was and being re built etc bla bla :D. ANYWAY, Ive finally got the Peugeot I have been after for almost over a year. It's a 04' 206sw S 1.4 with 28k :), Finally bought at the end of February. I cannot emphasize on how It feels and drives a million times better than my first car which was a Y reg Fiat Punto 1.2, got it for £300 LOL.
Well enough of the intro bit, Thought I would make a little project of it before I start uni pass some time as college is nearly over :(.
My first car (Please Excuse the dents, I did have intentions of repairing it, but then I couldn't be bothered
It's now in little pieces possibly baked bean cans or whatever, It got CRUSHED!!
And now here are a few snaps of my new baby, Sorry for any crappy pictures, Taken on iPhone, And a few edited on Instagram
After M.O.T to get it prepared for the VIC check,I drove it like this, With the hubcaps off, for a couple of weeks.
1 Flip key conversion done
NIMRODS :D, got them at a bargain price too ;), plus my mums car, which I tried getting insured on but worked out way too much.
Took those black vinyl stickers off did not like them on at all. Cant see it very well, Sorry Ill get some more pictures up when the weather improves
Further plans is to
- Tint it, The front to the legal amount allowed, and was thinking the rear windows the same as the rear screen, Think it would look good. Want to keep it as OEM and clean as possible
- Sport front bumper
- Sp arch kit
- Colour code all moldings
- Gloss Black GTI mirrors
Thank you for reading
Update 27/07/12
Booked the car in to get it tinted! :D, Getting it done on the 6th August as the tinter is very busy! Getting the back windows done to the same shade as the rear screen, and the front drivers and passengers to a lighter tint. Been quoted £150 all in which is a fair price. Will be posting pictures up once its done. Last edited by mehoolkmusic on Thu Sep 20, 2012 7:42 pm; edited 2 times in total

#7: Re: Project - Mkeyz - (206sw) Author: mehoolkmusic, Location: Northamptonshire/BedfordshirePosted: Thu Sep 20, 2012 7:32 pm ---- Begining of August I got the car tinted, Will post some pictures during the daytime. Fitted my HID Kit on Tuesday along with the Morettes (Which I found in the shed :D), however had to take them off as the motors was not working and light output is s**te with standard bulbs so its back on the good ole' crystals! BUT will be putting them on for Meets, shows ETC.
Should be having the sports front bumper sprayed pretty soon that Luke gave me, And I found a pair of brand new sports front foglights in the shed too :D. Think the cars coming on nicely. But for now I MUST save for UNI as im off this sunday
Some night shots...
Loving the HID's, Dont think I will ever go back to standard bulbs ever again!!
