it is the same with quite a few cars nowdays mk golfs are the same, you need the right software to run the abs pump to get the fuild runing through the system and air free if this is not done then the peddle will never feel right or the system work right.

Get hold of Peugeot Planet & do it yourself then Wink

£85 for an hours labour charge for laptop & technician is pretty good value to do the job correctly.

no not really to be honest it stops well enough don't get me wrong but the pedal still doesnt feel feel brillaint compared to my sister little fiat 500. I forgot to mention in my previous post that i had changed the master cylinder on mine so i didnt really have a lot of choice other than to get them bled up by peugeot planet.

It is hard if you havent got the correct tools for the job.

Its a GTI 180 & certain jobs need specialist equipment.

The hydraulic unit for the ESP equipped 206's is a right pain to bleed if you get air in the system, the air can get trapped inside the hydraulic valve block.

Peugeot Planet opens the valves inside the hydraulic block & allows the unit to be bleed.

Cheers.
