#1: Temp gauge on start up Author: Frenchy, Location: GloucesterPosted: Thu May 03, 2012 9:26 am ---- Don't know if this is normal or a problem but when you start the engine the temp gauge goes from rest to maximum travel and back to rest until the engine warms up when it reads normal. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Thats the OIL temp gauge.
It sounds like its doing an oil level check before you start the engine
Water temp gauge is the bottom of the rev counter on the 5 dial cluster.
