This is the cage I was looking at with the lower doors bars to get on and out a bit easier.
Il Message them in the week see what they have to say. I recon it's got to be about 50kg.

Surely if you ate going to fit a cage you'd be best going for a full weld in cage? That way you benefit from a significantly stiffer bodyshell rather than just a weight burden?

yes and no to weild in a cage is megga money and a lot of work. ive had a few quotes and I was shocked. also if for some reason I need to i can swap it to another shell or sell it ect
plates still need to be welded to the car so you will get some stiffness from the install just not as much as a full weld in.

and i must admit im a bit of a tart Very Happy so i want it to look the part aswell as a bit of added safety.

Good stuff. You won't regret that final drive. Makes the car accelerate faster but also safer because you run the engine through the whole rev range the speeds are lower!

Just stay off the motorway.

that's it's partly my trouble as I live miles away from any tracks I still need to travel. but I have plenty of B roads Wink
have you been for a 60mph cruze in 5th in yours yet? just wandering what rpm your at at I'll be a bit less.

63 mph in mine = 4k rpm. Yours will be doing about 3500 rpm at that speed. Or bob on 6k rpm at 100 mph.
