#1: Few problems with the gti Author: rick-gti, Location: welshpool, mid walesPosted: Thu May 10, 2012 2:53 am ---- I have just fitted another gti engine into my other gti and been driving it this week and have noticed that when i let off the clutch there's a knock from the front and when i go over a bump with the n/s wheel it knocks.

it turned out to be a mount that was not quite tight enough try that
for the knock around the wheel check droplinks are tight other than that im not sure
