I had to change my throttle pedal assembly on my GTI 180 due to the plastic housing braking. Now it's changed, I have the anti pollution warning on my info display and an eml on the instrument panel. I made sure the ignition was off, does this sound right??. Never had a problem with it before
Any help would be appreciated

Went to start it again to put the car in the garage and the light and warning is off , is this normal??
