#1: N/S Driveshaft boot Author: rick-gti, Location: welshpool, mid walesPosted: Tue May 15, 2012 7:12 am ---- Noticed yesterday when looking at the trackrod end on the N/S that there's a small split in the cv boot
Not sure what to do, i can either swop the driveshaft for another i have or put a new boot on. What do people think will be easiest. Dont really want to pull the driveshaft out the box as i have only just filled it up with oil. But i have never changed a cv boot before and it looks abit tricky to get the small end over the end of the shaft.

costs range from £30 ish and is a straight out and replace although you probably want a driveshaft seal aswell
im just doing a cv myself which comes with a new boot for £17. Easy job just watch this www.youtube.com/watch?v=-S-ofMoWsr0

Ive done them before but have been off the car.
