#1: Making the most of spare time :) Author: Elreidy, Location: WrexhamPosted: Thu May 17, 2012 4:12 pm ---- Got a few pictures that I think turned out pretty good today, whilst waiting for someone to pick some parts up off the old 106
Enjoy !
#2: Re: Making the most of spare time :) Author: MrZiggerz, Location: Milton KeynesPosted: Thu May 17, 2012 4:18 pm ---- I just don't like them doors Lexus lights on a lexus, lambo doors on a lambo.
#3: Re: Making the most of spare time :) Author: Elreidy, Location: WrexhamPosted: Thu May 17, 2012 4:22 pm ---- Ah its all about personal taste, I always wanted them on one car and the likelyhood of me affording a lambo is pretty low at the moment

#5: Re: Making the most of spare time :) Author: Ste, Location: Hull -or- The World Of Info CodePosted: Thu May 17, 2012 4:51 pm ---- Oh god, not this again, leave the guy alone, atleased he's done something different to most.. Do you guys take the p**s out of Iain for having those style doors? No I dont think you's do.. STFU!
#6: Re: Making the most of spare time :) Author: jayz206gti, Location: TamworthPosted: Thu May 17, 2012 5:18 pm ---- I think it looks a little odd as it just looks like a standard 206 with lambo doors on. For the doors to work the whole of the car needs to be OTT not just the doors.
#7: Re: Making the most of spare time :) Author: NICKST, Location: Little hulton (worsley)Posted: Fri May 18, 2012 1:12 am ---- I like it needs sport bumpers/body kit to work fully but I'm sure it's a work in progress.
Good work mate.

#10: Re: Making the most of spare time :) Author: hayes_ctfc, Location: CheltenhamPosted: Fri May 18, 2012 2:22 am ---- I'm a fan of the lambo doors, regardless of what anyone says, always have been, they're like a childhood want as they're on loads of toy cars you used to get

Doing 'something different to most' doesn't automatically make them or their car better, or give them immunity from criticism (or out right mockery if deserved). After all they'd be more than happy to take any complements.
I.e-
The owner of the car above has certainly 'done something different from most', but nobody could expect anyone to 'leave the guy alone'.

Surely the car above, when the bonnets opened it'd smash the windscreen with the spoiler? ha

I hope your talking about the 'lambo' doors & not the dog rover....
#17: Re: Making the most of spare time :) Author: Dabamash, Location: The car in frontPosted: Fri May 18, 2012 10:05 am ---- Meeh, maybe with sports bumper, the doors could work. As it is, it's a bit too stock to really carry off the doors.
Still, it's your car and if you like them, it's all good

#19: Re: Making the most of spare time :) Author: Elreidy, Location: WrexhamPosted: Fri May 18, 2012 10:16 am ---- Thanks for all the feedback guys, and yeah the car will be getting there slowly, just I decided to get the expensive modifications out of the way first, the rest of the car will be done slowly, everyone has their own opinion at the end of the day and i respect whatever you have to say

True, but that picture is taking it to the extreme lol, I don't see 5 spoilers stuck on the OP's car with tigerseal? Just a set of Lambo doors, I'd expect and allow a total p**s take out of someone who went and did the whole spoiler trick tbh, but this guy hasnt, I just see people on this site jumping on their high horses all of the time, taking the p**s out of people far too much lately for simple little things when in reality it's not really needed.
