Hey fella's,
Unfortunately my sunroof (panoramic) began acting up today.. when opening it there is no problems what so ever, it opens fully and the motor sounds smooth, but when closing the sunroof the motor sounds tired, and when it's 3\4 closed it makes a "struggling\whining" sound.. eventually it gets to the point where the sunroof's latch should close but it just stops there, looses power, and there is an inch gap between the sunroof and the wind deflector.. I was able to fully close it manually but.. what's the verdict? is the motor gone?.. I found a used motor for sale on ebay for 70£ delivered, seller claiming it works fine, do you think it's worth spending the money?

Got the same problem with mine mate, Its not the motor but I am pretty sure its the runners that move the sunroof back and forward..

If you take the motor out you can see the thread worn down.. Ive just had to live with closing the last bit manually.

Does it make a clicking sound?

there is a fixing kit from the dealer, but this problem is common one with sunroofs,so you have to replace the cables and the plastic runners because they get worn out with time, you should visit me someday we can help you to fix it here.

Well that calms me down a little bit, 'cause I was ready to say bye bye to the motor.. I'll be on a look out for the repait kit including the threads and runners..

And that's exactly what I was trying to describe - no clicking sound..
