My GTi 180 gear lever seems to have a lot of play in 5th gear , move it to the left and all the play is good. Seems like there is some adjustment may be requried or the gear linkage bushes are gone.
Before I pull apart does anyone know the procedure to ensure the cables and lever are correctly aligned to the correct gearing on a 180
