#1: Knocking after fitting coilovers. Author: ryan.h, Location: DoncasterPosted: Tue May 22, 2012 3:33 pm ---- Hi everyone, I fitted coilovers to my car at the weekend and everything was fine until last night when it started making a knocking noise over bumps, the drop links seem to be fine and I used my old top bushes which were replaced last year. Does Anyone know what could be the problem?
Cheers Ryan.

Sounds like there moving when your going over bumps tbh, jack it up and see if there's any play in the engine where the bolts are

not sure how you check the wishbone is gone or not as my whole front end knocked over bumps so changed the lot
