#1: need help Author: rob25, Location: swanseaPosted: Wed May 23, 2012 11:44 am ---- right i,ve got a really bad tinny rattle coming from the rear of the car, fine on a smooth road but the slightest bump and it it sounds awful.
checked the exhaust, heatshield, rear seats, tailgate so can only think that it may be something to do with the rear suspension.new to the 206 bso could really do with some advice.
plus does anyone have a diagram or link to a site for the rear suspension,,

#4: Re: need help Author: deks, Location: East KentPosted: Wed May 23, 2012 12:14 pm ---- also might be worth looking on the rear panel inside the boot as this is where the wheel brace is stored
could be something loose in there rattling about
#5: Re: need help Author: rob25, Location: swanseaPosted: Wed May 23, 2012 12:21 pm ---- nope, had a look not even a wheel brace in the rear panel,
#6: Re: need help Author: DeadEyePaul, Location: Rugby,WarwickshirePosted: Wed May 23, 2012 12:46 pm ---- Read on here the sometimes the boot latch can rattle. Apparently wrapping tape around where it latches on helps it temporally
#7: Re: need help Author: rob25, Location: swanseaPosted: Wed May 23, 2012 1:08 pm ---- umm!!right now i,ll try anything its really getting on my nerves and slowly running out of ideas.
i,lll try the tape idea ,if not wondering if it could be the dampers?
