#1: car unlock flashing Author: gaffa786, Location: 2 Places at oncePosted: Thu May 24, 2012 1:43 pm ---- hi bit of a stupid question but how many times do the lights flash when you unlock the car? mines seems to flash about 5 times or so fast but when i lock it its just 1 flash for a second then goes off.
also my button does not work from far i have to be close to the car (2-3 meters) to unlock it could it be that the battery in the remote is finishing?

3-5 flashes = unlock
flashing fast when indicating = bulb out
Same system on my 307, and changing the battery will improve the range if it's gone down to a few metres.

One slow flash is to give the feeling of it 'going to sleep', locked safely.
That's how I always thought of it, but I'm stupid.

The hazards will flash fast for about 30 secs. This is used to find your car in a car park or at night etc. also useful to check u have locked the car
