Crap Tyers? I would Take the car up a quite country road and get the wheels spinning to take off the top layer or crap on your Tyers.

Its not oil on the floor as its happend at two three seperate locations

Because this exact same thing has started on my car! Tyre screeching sound when cornering right and very bad steering response

#20: Re: Driver side wheel squeek Author: shaunc, Location: Salford/ManchesterPosted: Thu Jun 21, 2012 3:13 pm ---- Aaahr I see, mine started doing this just recently after changing my wishbone. I'm thinking I may have damaged something in the process :/ but mines so bad I haven't been able to drive my car for a week! It don't feel safe

what does it feel like when you are driving it?
#22: Re: Driver side wheel squeek Author: shaunc, Location: Salford/ManchesterPosted: Thu Jun 21, 2012 11:20 pm ---- The steering feels quite loose and I feel like I have to over steer a lot. And it's making the screeching noise when turning right. I think it's too dangerous to drive at the minute especially because I drive on the motorway everyday
#23: Re: Driver side wheel squeek Author: shaunc, Location: Salford/ManchesterPosted: Thu Jun 21, 2012 11:37 pm ---- Ps, its only on the drivers side
#24: Re: Driver side wheel squeek Author: gaffa786, Location: 2 Places at oncePosted: Fri Jun 22, 2012 5:35 pm ---- mine does it when turning left or right but mainly at tight turns at slow speed. i did take a turn at speed once (turning left) and it felt like the right wheel was going left and right as it wouldnt grip so good.
i will have the car checked when i get paid.
i have taken it to a few garages and told them to test drive it but they keep telling me its fine when i know its blatantly not
#25: Re: Driver side wheel squeek Author: shaunc, Location: Salford/ManchesterPosted: Sat Jun 23, 2012 1:30 am ---- Ohhh I see, it's annoying me bad because I'm used to fixing my car myself but this time I dont even have a clue what it could be and may have to take it to the garage and let them fix it :/ I reeaally need my car back on the road quick tho!
Well good luck with it mate and keep me updated if you get it sorted
